LTIR was not designed to be a way to get out of cap issues and terrible contacts, it was designed to do the bullpoop like Kucherov and Stone. Hence the "reserve" part of "long term injury." It implies they will come back or could. I honestly don't care, just poking fun. Much like Robidas Island and the fact that the Coyotes are half LTIRetired players.
