It didn't last his whole career, mostly because of injuries, but it's something the other guys you mentionned didn't even sniff.

He was the best player in the world.

I'm not saying he was better than Crosby for the lenght of his career.

But at that point in time. He truly was the best in the world.

And that's why he's going to be in the HoF at some point despite not winning a cup.
