Never believed Montreal was the primary target destination for PLD. No agent would undercut his own negotiation leverage by picking one team and refusing consideration of any other option. On the other hand, a smart agent might name one team with a view to increasing his leverage in negotiations with the other interested teams. PLD is the best player available for a team looking to make a serious run for the Cup. I think PLD is headed to the LA Kings. Very few teams have the flexibility in their young player/prospect depth to match a potential LA offer.
