To rebuild I-95 on time, we need 12 hours of dry weather to complete the paving and striping process.
With rain in the forecast, we reached out
@PoconoRaceway
for help — and they're bringing their jet dryer to Philly to help dry this section of I-95 and keep us on schedule. - Symba007
that is some wacky poop. |

I'm not sure if they were told that it was as safe as it gets and that the risks were minimal, but yeah you have to be a bit naive to get in that thing in the first place... |

it seems you've explored its depths numerous times, so I'll take your word for it... |

They were not, if you look at the contract they signed it made it very clear it was very dangerous, as pretty much all forms of exploration usually is.
The submariners died peacefully (unaware even of imminent death) doing what they love. Most will never be able to understand the desire to understand and seek out the world. I for one, would not have had the stones to do it. Hell, I almost drop a load just looking over the side of a tall bridge. |

I get a bit claustrophobic just looking at the interior of the sub, I can't imagine I would've been willing to get inside it and go thousands of metres deep in the ocean, wtf.
I hope for them that what you say is true, that they died peacefully, without even having time to freak out about what was going on...

Yeah, I am quite claustrophobic as well. I saw an explanation that the speed of the implosion would be as such, that it took a fraction of a millisecond. The human brain would not have registered anything at all. |

They would have been immediately killed as the pressure at those depths are sureal. We’re talking hundreds or even thousand lbs of pressure that gains exponentially the deeper you go. No way that they died a conventional drowning death.
Also, absolutely no (frank)ing way I climb into a can of Starkist tuna and explore at those depths!!! (frank) that noise!! |

I don’t have many irrational fears, but that closterphobic bullpoop would be at the top of my list. Unless I was terminally I’ll or something (frank)ed and I wanted a quick and painless death |
