Hughes has already said something about not losing, trading, Monty....so the issue is Primeau.....no longer waiver exempt. If the Habs put Primeau on waivers, he gets claimed.....but would Allen? probably....still it is decision time about Primeau....

i put my right pad on before my left pad and crouched down and backed into my net and tapped the back of my helmet (i was a helmet and cage guy) against the crossbar before every opening faceoff. and we weren't even undefeated. hell, we weren't even good.

When someone says you really earned your money today, they mean you had to work really hard

Am I completely disconnected if my first thought was "hey, maybe Michkov won't go back to Russia after the draft?"

Just waiting to see if any Russian troops support, or even join, Wagner. If they do, then maybe we can see them all decimate the total military capabilities of both groups in a matter of months, if not weeks.

EDIT: Looks like the Chechen forces are also going to engage Wagner. This is gonna get pretty ugly.

Apparently people are calling for mass protests in Moscow...I don't know if it will really happen...

Once the civilians start getting bombed, this will fracture most of Russia. Probably see a bunch of areas try to break away and form their own country, too, if it persists long enough.

I feel bad for the ordinary people in Russia just trying to live a life.

But maybe some if this will wake them up to the horrors of what Russia is actually doing to the people of Ukraine. And perhaps that adds more pressure for change.

I wonder if him and others could use the current situation to get out of his (their contracts).

We will know soon enough I guess.

Its harder to protest over there than in here. Its not that most dont know what is going on, but they might not want to risk jail, losing their jobs or their lives to go in the street.

People tweet a lot in the West, but they would not do better.

Oh, I know.

However, when the number of protesters becomes overwhelming, then the protests really can't be controlled like thye are today, with a few thousand or so. Especially if most of their military forces have been deployed defensively.

Like I said, the uglier this gets, the more we will see people turn on Putin.
