Probably should buy him a Emergency Alert Bracelet, don't know if anyone can Hear "Help I've Fallen And Can't Get Up" on the ice. - Buff36
He can get up, it's the falling back down he has the problem with. |

Well he had no issue doing that with Rosen last year. They don’t need another midget playmaker. Not being a strong skater isn’t going to be good when everyone you’re playing against is bigger and faster. I would’ve taken whatever player was closest in comparison to Plymouth Whaler Tom Wilson. - Hatboro_Swords
Because everyone in their system will be here? As many on here like to say, they ALL won't make the NHL. You take the consensus bpa there. He was a top ten in several mocks. Just because you may have a couple other prospects like him, you don't pass on that type of skill. |

Chicago having a nice draft |

I dont hate the pick, I don't care who they drafted. I understand unless they are used in a trade scenario they won't help this team for 2+ years
Its funny to me how obvious its been since last December that we are a couple of good players and perhaps some growing pains away from being cup contenders
When dahlin and power sign and our core is officially locked up what will the excuses be then?
Tuchs sweetheart deal is up in 4 years - ieetbred
Saturday is the start of free agency. By Monday we'll know if Adams cares about this year. |

Can't trade top 15 picks, can't let 4th line replacement level players walk, cant make trades because other teams haven't
Vegas just ufa'd and traded their way to a cup. JFC |

Okposo and Girgensons are waving hello to you, told you they would be back. - SABRES 89
They aren't the reason the Sabres failed to make the playoffs. They are defensively sound bottom-six role players. Nothing wrong with them being back. Especially since we will still be a young team next year that could use vet leadership. |

With all due respect, until he does it in the NHL, it means nothing. - SABRES 89
Agreed. Every year it’s the Sabres got one of the best prospects available. We cannot believe that they were available to draft them. The same thing was that was last year with Savoie and he should’ve gone top-five, but didn’t because of his size. |

Like I said, until all these " great picks " we have made do it in the NHL, it means nothing. |

I wouldnt fold their draft results into their off season grade. Getting Benson is nice, but it's an F if they cant make the necessary changes to the existing team that just barely missed last year. |

No maybe Not, but maybe if they cash the multiple chances they had from Krebs setting them up we win that extra game we needed. |

I honestly love the position they are in. No one could have asked to be in a better position 2 years ago.
For some reason alot of people don't want to admit it's time to stop waiting for picks and prospects. Id have loved it if they traded for toffoli |

That every year fans talk themselves into thinking that we got one of the best prospects in the entire draft?
As has been pointed out, we’ve been doing it since drafting Zadorov, Ristolainen and grigorenko |

That's it, he's a good pick, but the work Adams needs to do hasn't changed 1 bit. |

That no matter who we drafted someone somewhere would say it’s an absolute steal?

Exactly right. I am interested in their future, but at this point it is not the only thing on their radar. The immediate success matters because it's there for the taking. |

I agree with Lunaion that this may put additional pressure on them to make a move or moves to improve their defense, which would be a good thing. |

I will argue he is not useless. He has been statistically proven to be an impactful defensive forward. Those are just the facts. Now he doesn't score for poop. But last time I heard, the Sabres score a ton of goals already. Zemgus is stained by the failures of the last decade +, but that should have no bearing on next season. |
