He definitely didn't suck that year. Maybe a better way of looking at it is that Swayman put up identical stats that year coming out of college. I think that is why ullmark is rumored to be available after not looking good in the postseason. That team plays great D.

He had the same numbers his 1st year in Boston, that he basically Averaged his time in Buffalo. We would have drooled over a goalie playing 40gms last year at a 2.69Gaa and .915 Save %, and even if those numbers were affected by the system Buffalo didn't run. Even his worst year in Buffalo was a .905 save%, still would have taken that.
