Buffalo prospect Jack Quinn had successful surgery last night to repair an Achilles tendon injury suffered this week during training. The talented forward is expected to make a full recovery (timeline tends to be 4-6 months), but will miss at least the start of next season.

4-6 months probably means partial not a full tear which is good news (all relative)

Correct, and it took him several years of playing on it before he returned to form after he returned

For several years, it was said that the Achilles injury really hampered Karlsson.
