How many times in the last 12 years have the Sabres had a top 10 prospect group? At least once just from memory and many where the prospects were going to pay off.
It’s wild that a bald maintenance guy has you people convinced this is it, with the real and problematic voids in the roster. - washedup20
We have gotten better each year he has been here.
Real players we develop are signing to stay here long term.
These guys love playing for the sabres. This has not happened for maybe since the 90’s.
Granato and coaching staff are making prospect that looked washed up into solid players.
Bald blind guy and scouts are finding gems in the draft.
Prospect pool is busting through the roof. This is good. More than 1/2 will flame out so have lots of lottery tickets.
Im not trying to be a homer but these are facts. Its not all peaches and cream. Messed up the goalie situation last year.
Not sure about bringing back the vets but adams seems like hes good at reading the room. More goes on behing the scenes than we know.
Rookie gm and rookie coach turned this franchise from a laughing stock. Now we just have to tell Pegula to up the eye coverage so Adams can look into things better and get us to the playoffs

Log jam ….. eventually adams will have to trade someone. They can’t all play in roch or the big club.
It’s just a numbers game …… |

It's more than a numbers game, there's a lot to evaluate there. Now you have to make the right call on the players on who fits long term and who doesn't and hope you didn't miss something. It's gonna be harder than expected, especially with as young of a team as the Sabres are. Choices will need to be made quicker. |

Appreciate giving the balds props, and you’re not wrong.
Purgatory isn’t automatically off the list for nhl players…aka…improvement
Winning standards are winning standards and the Sabres have none of it yet. I like the prospects but they need a Patches O’hulahan or someone as obnoxious as Sean Avery.
It will allow the skill to focus and the grit will grow. |

The other side of that is this: isn't it possible that at least a couple of them are really elite players? Its fun to think about. It also can't hurt that they are really going to have to slug it out in Roch to try to get the next callup.

Some will be really good to elite. Others won’t pan out.
Good problem to have.
Still wouldn’t mind a trade or two involving some of the guys. |

Oh princess, why don't you tell us exactly where Adams went wrong? You seem so sure about this - why not graduate from a 3rd-rate troll to a 2nd-rate troll. Time to earn your wings. We can get you out of the kiddie table if you just try a little bit. We've seen that quality snark isn't your thing, lets see if we can find a special spot just for you.

You know what woulda been cool, Brad? Making a draft day thread. - TheSabresTaco
Lol.
I can see it tomorrow...
"Sabres selected Zach Benson at 13, reminded me of when Danny Gare was selected in 1974 as a 5'9" Spunk scoring forward. Speaking of 1974, in August the country experienced the effect of Watergate as a lying President resigned in disgrace...the parallels are strong to today and we may/should relive it this August, 2023.
But let's reminisce more about the Sabres of the 1970's...."

He won’t be 100% until the start of next offseason. What I mean by that is a full offseason of training and working out.
I would start him in Rochester. As poopy as that sounds. Bring him back slowly |

Anyone have the athletic? Looks like they graded all the picks. Post if you can/want.
Would like to know what they think of Top5GM drafting |

He probably will have a conditional stint there.
These are brutal injuries to get back to 100% from. Usually it’s a year post recovery |
