Broads and adult? Hahaha listen, I like broads, he is one of the few posters who I stop to read when I scroll through the crap, but he is a miserly little man and takes just as many quips as the rest of us.

I feel like his posts are a little more tongue-in-cheek than you realize.

First off

I am an adult. I’m 36 1/12 years old. Or 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋🖕this many if you need to count on your hands.

Second of all. I know you are but what am I?

I forgot where but I read that too that it’s expected to be closer to 6 months. And they won’t rush him.

I absolutely hate to say it and I love Quinn but they should move forward like he will be done for the year. If he ends up 100% by January or so it’s a bonus

- sbroads24

That sucks if true. He was a dark horse candidate to get 30 this year I feel.

He may be that, I have no idea. He generally has a decent argument even if I don't agree. Most people do. I am generally the peacekeeper here. I enjoy coming here but I have to step away from time to time because of the trolls. He'll, it would be one thing if he was funny about it. Its just lame, bordering on sad.

Trust me when we are legitimately good I will be the happiest fanboy on this blog. I’m a fanboy at heart.

Again, completely wrong. We will be kicking an idea around that has nothing to do with anything related to adams, and he swings it back to the drought. I know you know what I am talking about.
- Slump Buster

Well until the Sabres actually make the playoffs, and Yes things are looking brighter, the drought will always be somewhere on this Board. And unfortunately Adams is apart of that to until the drought is over because he is in charge of this Franchise.

Counter point to the worst GM and top5GM crowds...

Maybe Adams is just an average GM? Seems like he makes some decent trades, decent draft picks, but is not without reproach.

Half the teams in this stupid league make the playoffs every year. Just be better than the worst half the teams. That's all you need to end this droubt.

Thanks for posting that Buff.

They have individual prospect grades?

- ZiggyBuff

Haven't seen any yet. If they do I will try to post it

Adams overall is fine. I have no desire to see him fired and do this again

I just want some damn urgency.

I want us to operate like we are a functioning NHL franchise and we don’t need some master plan to be relevant again

Completely agree. They missed an easy playoff appearance last year due to apathy.

New season though. Can't carry that into the draft.

@LLysowski
Per a source close to the situation, Jack Quinn’s recovery is expected to be “closer to six months,” which means the Sabres have to plan to be without him until late December.

I actually applaud Adams for what he has done building the pipeline, think the Defensive side could have been worked on a bit earlier. But there’s comes a point where you are getting to many Good Prospect in one Area especially when you have a young team and a young Core. He Balanced out his Prospect pool this year with this draft. But now we need to see if Adams can make the hard decisions and deal from a position of strength(Forwards) to hit weaknesses for this team now. He hasn't shown he is willing to do that.

And that's a rational thought. I am good with how he is but understand why others feel that way.

Scott Cullen on wgr said the defense pool is weak and the real value is making a trade for one.

What bothers me is people pumping his tires like he’s some revolutionary savant.

You might not have been around a few weeks ago out there was an actual blog from a Sabres Twitter blog/fan account with the title “Is Kevyn Adams revolutionizing the GM position?”

Like come on …

Yeah, some people (not you) went from pretending JB was the worst ever (was not good but not horrible) to having the best ever.

If he’s legit good then our expectations need to be pretty high.

I get my constant sarcasm is annoying. But I need Sabres playoff hockey.

Theoretical question. You have one year to pick a team to root for and follow. Your choics are last years Sabres team or last years Islanders, who made the playoffs.

So let's say last offseason he traded for vanacek and a guy like peace. Would you have given his job so far an A?

Last years Sabres. The islanders were insanely boring and hard to watch

Sure. I think he did an excellent job trading off assets.

I think the drafting so far (far from determined) has been solid.

I think he’s struck out miserably in the adding guys for low cost that should provide value part (besides Jost) and I think he’s held on to a few guys a year too long (Bryson, Olofsson, and possibly Jokiharju)

I’d say right now he’s a B- to a B

But that will quickly turn if we don’t make it this year
