Yeah, Cozens could always slide over with Krebs at C.
Feels like this could be Krebs best shot to prove he’s a top 6 caliber forward - sbroads24
Im a harsh krebs critic but hes been dealt such a bad hand development wise it will be nice to see him get a real shot with real nhlers.
Obviously if it goes sideways I will be furious. |

Versatility gives them options. This may give Krebs a shot at 3C. going to have to take advantage of that first, I imagine.
I'd like to see Kulich given the first shot at it. If VO starts there, I might lose it.

Glue is cheaper, and probably better defensively. |

It's my nightmare and it won't go away until he's gone.
Donnie will do Donnie things, if you give him the players.

I dont think its a donnie thing to play VO over Kulich. He flat out forgot he existed for all of March.
If he's brought back its as 13F |

I get it, for me I would rather spend that money on a better D option. - hehateme
They have the cap space to do both.
3x5.75 for Duchene.
Trade VO |

You say that, but we all know how VO starts seasons. A couple PP goals and old habits kick in again.
With Quinn out, someone in that front office is saying just swap in VO. He's already here, it's easy.

I dont think the FO is all that keen on him either. Id speculate that he stays but I dont think its because of the injury or coaches desire to have him here.
I just dont think they want to pay over 2 million to not have him be here. |

Aside from what Okposo means to the guys in the room.
Seeing guys like Wheeler and Duchene become available for free due to buyouts is why we felt they jumped the gun on resigning Okposo. |

Also, this is the game I point too as crucial point of the season: March 17th

JJ and Jost out, despite both playing well and having scored the previous game. VO and Vinny in. Team quit on him the next few games.

They lost 2 in a row after that philly game, then they went 7-1-1. So bad coaching decision maybe but, no they did not quit. |

Okposo deserves to see this through. No issue bringing him back.
I do have an issue bringing back all 3 of Okposo, Girgensons and Jost though. |

wonder what jost decides to do. i dont think the sabres will qualify him. more of a question of, will you accept a million to be our spare forward |

They lost 7-0 and 7-3 the next 2 nights. It was the low point, imo.

Nah the low point is finally getting meaningful games in March, and then starting the month 1-10
That's what cooked them |

Because he’s good.
Because he’s going to get a multi year deal.
The contract will be tradable if needed in two years. |

We're saying the same thing. Those were games 8, 9, and 10.
