Isn’t Foligno a pending UFA?
- Stripes77

He is. That probably means they want to make a move before July 1.

I hate to say it but I don't think we can put the Tin Man in there because of the medical issues (including the misdiagnosis). He was was peaking and had become an elite player before being knocked out again.

So you're saying that the Bruins have the rest of the offseason to make moves? Interesting...

I said If, that is the only word in my post.

Why do you talk to yourself and respond publicly?

Sign any RFA’s maybe. They are in a world of cap issues even with this trade.

Yes, it clears 6mill for Boston and it cost Regula and Mitchell. Pure camp dump

Can they sign and utilize LTIR this season with their vets?

Just under 11 million in cap space with only 14 players signed. Should be interesting to see how a real NHL team navigates the cap situation.

I still maintain he's the most disappointing Sabre of all time. It was about 5 games into his tenure that I realized his shtick is to fly into the offensive corner, spin and flail around and hope something good happens
- Hank Balling

Cody Hodgson has to be up there.

Good reminder that all prospects don't continue to improve each year and long term deals on young players are risky.

They really are - Sweeney said as much after the year ended. They did a nice job going for it while their window was open but its starting to close. Still a very good team but its going to be tough to even maintain given that they don't have assets or cap space. Ullmark should be next as he would bring something in return and clear a good chunk of salary.

Bad example, he had a genetic disorder that hurt his career.

They’ll figure it out. They won’t be the juggernaut they were this year but they’ll be fine.

close but Ville Leino takes that distinction for me, dude played 58 games as a starter and scored 0 goals. That's really, really, REALLY hard to do. I mean get in front of the net and have one bounce off your skate, Leg, a$$.

Complete garbage player.
