If needed 3 years in trade him to where ever he wants. Hold 2mil and recoup like a 2nd and 4th.

I mean that’s cool and all, but I bet if I go back to the day we signed him and said if we won’t end up making the playoffs we can probably get pick 60 and an AHL middle six forward everyone would’ve laughed and said we will easily get a #1 or a pretty damn good prospect.
