I completely agree with all of that, which is why I wouldn't want Helley either. I have no interest in Gibson unless they hold at least 2 mill of his if 6.4 AAV. - Slump Buster
Good call the Sabres don't need either of these 2 veteran goalies with elite talent.
Okposo is going to vibe the locker room so vibey UPL and Levi will make history.

Don't be so dense, thinking it, allowing it, and not having proper support to manage the risk of the move was dumb. - washedup20
By that logic, we should just have a shadow team to cover all of the kids in case they don't play well? The same people complaining about 4D right now are the same ones that complained that we didn't go out and get more scoring last offseason. They let the kids play. Sure, Adams should have got another D in October or November when injuries hit.

You do realize that Gibson is living off for 4 years ago, don't you? 4 more years at 6.4 per year.
Say, why aren't all of the other teams hopping on the Helley train? If I am Jersey, I am bringing him in as a rental. I can't see anyone paying a goalie 9.5 again, for good reason.

Logic and you are the same as oil and water. - washedup20
Better yet, why don't you answer the question. Lets assume that they go out and get a good 4d and an acceptable vet goalie (Freddie Anderson, Korpisalo, etc). If KA didn't make any other moves, why would that be a travesty? There is an assumption the roster is young and we are presuming that there are going to be continued growth from the core youngins. Give me an example of a trade that you think Adams should make.

You do realize that you could probably get Bob for free, don't you? He had an amazing playoff run, until he didn't. He hadn't been good for a long time before that, and I don't love his prospects for being good again in the future. - Slump Buster
Yeah i dont need a 36 year old goalie for 10 milly.
My point was Hellybuck can still be the guy to get you to the finals 5 years into his contract cause he a top goalie. Like Bob was.
Goalies are just so strange tho. Just need em to get Hot at the right time.

Assume and if away the day slump, it's supposed to be an entertaining day.

Why not just answer the question? I am not even trying to troll you. Again, if he doesn't make those moves I will absolutely join you in criticizing him.

He has no answers. Throwing insults makes him feel better. Hes on the same message board everyday complaining about other people having conversation.
Small "man" with small hands. I mean you'd think its his wife posting for him with the b!tching and moaning the guy does.

To put what you said another way: "You go ahead and wait to see what moves are made. I have started with my desired result, and am now going to proceed complaining about it as if it has actually happened".

Sir, I am not a cat. - The_Inkwell
Here in the UK it made national news that at a school a student or students identified as cats and some called them out on it and the school took the side of those wanting to identify as whatever
Then the PM said nope you can identify as a gender and not another species

Bob is a headcase in net. If you ever see the Sabres play the panthers in person. You can just tell with the stuff he does.
Very routine oriented, keeps to himself, and a few other things I noticed.

I think one of the indicators of a good goalie is that his numbers look better than the other goalie's numbers. When you look through his numbers over the last several years, his numbers are fairly consistent (3 GAA, 900ish SV%). The other goalies had very similar numbers (and often better). A kid from the minors saved their season last year. What is the appeal?
