I think it's a non issue though. The sabres are a tall team, Skinner is the shortest forward on the team, everyone else of importance is 6'+.

They are really young. Everyone is going to fill out and be 10-15 lbs heavier in 2 years. Kids get pushed around because they are kids. It doesn't mean the team is soft.

And I figured there would be. top 3-5 one-timer in the league. That alone gets you some value. If the guy could be a little more competitive he'd be a force.

What did he do the offseason before that? Sign Dougie Hamilton, the best UFA D man. What did Adams do? Sign Eric Comrie, the 85th best goalie this past season.

The ironic part about people complaining about the Devils acquiring guys like Meier and Hamilton is that they were trying to fill in areas where they were in need. They didn't have a stud D and they didn't have the top line wing. They got their version of Dahlin and Tuch because they didn't have them.

Yeah these boys add some weight/muscle and they wont get pushed around so easily.
