Sanheim to the Flames makes way too much sense. Half the team wants out, there has to be opportunity there.

As soon as I have specifics, I PROMISE I will share.

But let's just say, the
@NHLFlyers
blue line is gonna look a hell of a lot different next year.

Sanheim would seem like the obvious name, but could this mean Risto / York are in play?

The NHLPA would have no leg to stand on. There is no rule in the CBA to prevent it. It's not going to happen but there are no grounds for a lawsuit or grievance. The only thing the Flyers are responsible for is to honor the contract and to pay him his salary. He does not have a NMC so it would be completely legit.

There is zero chance he’s going to the AHL

briere is apparently not taking a 1st and 2nd rounder for Laughton

You think that's what he's worth? Would you not be happy with that return?

Looked up Tyler Boucher stats and was impressed to learn he played 2 games for us when he was 12.

I’d be fine with that return. I don’t think he’s worth that. Just saying briere seems to be driving some hard bargains so far. We’ll see what this blues trade looks like

Just the fact that there are real possibilities in these rumors after so many years of crap from the front office is making being a flyers fan enjoyable again. Let’s see what GMDB does but so far the trade made was great and fingers crossed on these pending moves.

Dear ChuckieTwoTrades… THIS is a bias for action.

From O’Connor’s Twitter:

“ Wouldn't shock me if the holdup here is that the Blues are trying to get a player to waive a NTC. If this is as big (in terms of number of pieces) of a deal as I've been led to believe, it would make sense if the Flyers are taking back a guy with no-trade protection.”

So would we be excited to ship out Sanheim only to get Parayko back? He has 7 years left at 6.5m and a NTC through year 5 (then M-NTC 15 teams til the end.)

What about Faulk or Krug?

It's gotta be one of them; they have so much money tied up in the right side of their defense.

Is it possible they’re flipping Walker who they just acquired from LA? RHD with a shorter term?

Whatever it is, it seems DB and his team are complex thinkers

Nothing confirmed yet, but sources tell
@TheAthletic
that the Blues and Flyers are working to finalize a trade for center Kevin Hayes. Appears to be several elements involved, which takes time, but could be done today. #stlblues

Hearing Risto may be part of the deal also.

Reports that the deal has fallen apart. Or at least a part of it due to a player not waiving.

Is it just possible that Danny wants to clear the shelf of all the players obtained by previous GMs?
