I think there is a higher chance Dvorak is gone by camp, he can be useful to a team needing depth at center.

I am not sure there is a team that needs an over priced 3rd line winger. And I just do nto see the Habs eating salary or trading assets to make that happen.

Maybe paying half and getting rid of the Hoffman is better than paying 100% in Laval…. Maybe a little service to another team and the player…

Likely more of a mentor to bedard than anything, and possibly, shelter Bedard from some match-ups at the start of the season. Hall knows what being a 1st pick is like, the pressure that comes with that, and been team makes with a significant number of #1 picks over his career.

Chicago did Boston a favour, but they may have done one for themselves, as well.

Its a good trade for the Hawks. Hall only has 2 years left and the Hawks needed to get to the floor this season. Bedard needed someone to play with and Hall can do that.

I imagine Foligno will be signed for a year cause why even make him part of the deal for 4 days. A year at whatever is fine. Even 2 is okay cause i think the Hawks have like 4 guys under contract for next season aside from ELC guys who make the team.

By the time Lucic got there Bedard would be pummeled. Foligno will fill the much over-stated policeman role. No one stops players from taking runs at other players.

Also, Bedard is a fiesty poop and is pretty fealess.
