Drury will not make a move. I'm convinced of it.

Thanks Jan for doing another successful draft! I realize it requires a great deal of your time --- especially considering its the off-season! Well done!

#Avs trade Alex Newhook to #Habs for Gianni Fairbrother, the 31st overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, and the 37th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.

May mean Colorado pretty confident they can bring Compher back even after the Ryan Johansen deal. Montreal paid a lot for a player who has not yet met the draft hype, but he will get the chance now

They were probably offering that package for Laf and had to settle for Newhook
- TC88

NHL Gms chose to make bad moves. Idk. I'll never understand.

Geez, Habs would have been a target for me to trade down the 23rd pick with.

The #NJDevils are engaged in trade talks with multiple teams about Yegor Sharangovich. Sounds like a sign-and-trade is likely.

Somebody check the kitchen of Colony Pizza and tell Chris he has work to do.

Lol this off-season is gonna piss me off. This isn’t a Stanley cup caliber roster. Need some moves

The reality is the rangers should have lost to the pens in the first round 2 years ago if they aren’t facing a 3rd string goalie and Crosby doesn’t get hurt. The canes series win was nice but probably should never have happened. And this year getting bounced in round 1 looking like they don’t care. This roster is built to make the playoffs but not deep or good enough to make a run. They can’t just run it back. Changes need to happen. Just don’t know how. The core keeps getting older. This is the most bleak I have felt in a long time unless Drury pulls a rabbit out of his arse this summer with moves

Yea it seems it. I mean as long as they have Igor they will make the playoffs. But the roster needs improvement. Just sucks cause every damn player has a no movement clause

They need to bite the bullet already and just buyout Goodrow.

Also, resigning LAF and Miller… need to get that done and over with.

Should leave us with about 7m in cap space.

The PLD trade, technically, is a beast. All involved are still working on the contract extension. Because of cap issues, expect the Jets to make another move…likely buying out Wheeler. Still moving parts.

Yea it’s driving me crazy. Unless he is waiting till draft night to start making moves. But he needs to clear space. Get to work
