Ive been a fan for 40+ years of this team and he's one of my favorite players who ever put on the uniform, so it pains me to have to be critical of his play, but he really really came up small in that Devils series

When the Rangers best guys do not show up at 5v5 majority of the past two years you can't win long term. Thats a problem. Need players that do or a coach that can fix that. Its why Zib, panarin, kane etc only showed glimpses of good play. Most came on the PP

What bothers me the most is it seems his work ethic sucks and he relies on his talent alone. That worked in the Q and now he gets embarrassed most nights. The org should step in here and really figure out how to help him and him help himself

well, I think if something like that happened it would depend on the player still being there at 5 that Rangers are looking for
