thats where it loses any kind of sense to me

the main reason this team has any future right now, well, its because of Bergevin. He got all their most imortant players

The new Gm did some good moves here and there, yeah, ok.

But the main pieces were there when he got here.

anyway

when you aren't even mature enough to say "homosexual"...

could we ban this (frank)ing account already?

I know, that's what I'm saying, Bergevin haters refuse to see any good that he made lol.
- Pat1993

that's not true.
but at the same time you need to see the big picture, not just the good trades here and there!
they missed the playoffs 6/7, and the one time they did make it, it was a canadian division. everyone knows under normal circonstances they would not have made it.

a (frank)in chance they left a few good prospects!!!! lol

but in the end he was no worse than his predecessors, as we already mentioned he didn't leave the team in such a bad state. I don't know why this is so (frank)ing hard to admit.

I disagree with that statement. MB took the team with a Price in his prime, PK, Pacioretty.... I guess the guy before him didn't do that bad.
Hughes comes in with a few good prospects, I think of Suzuki, Caufield and Guhle. the rest...

but I never said he took the team in a bad state either, that's not the point.

Suzuki, Caufield, Xhekaj, Ghule, Harris, Mailloux, Romanov...

nothing of value. just complete crap.

whatever

- Pat1993

Fine.

I’ll give him credit for the Weber trade.

Now do some of the players he passed on with some of those early round picks.

I will give him zero credit for Suzuki as he wasn’t his target in that trade.

but in the end he still pulled the trigger on that trade.

sorry Pete, I've already had this conversation today, this is getting dumb.

that's exactly the point, he left the team in a worse shape than he took it

he was not the target, which totally explains why they traded for him

au moins Dubois est signé pour 8 ans pis Drouin sen va

ça va prendre d'autres conneries mais en même temps le fantôme de Bergevin hante les songes de certains plus de deux ans après son départ
