same. those two are both really skilled, and they seem to mesh very well together. just need to find them that bigger but still skilled forward on that line... could be Slaf at some point, who knows.

from the Russian mafia, they don't (frank) around.

Maybe that's why Philly was a destination, there is a "Russian Community" there.

Nope it was official they met twice
- Glak18

Even if I would meet Mr Peanut twice, I would still pass….

Teams met some kids 3-4 times and they don’t pick them… They even invite some kids to eat a steak and still pass on them…

Agreed! And good thing is, a scoring winger is easier to trade for than top pairing D, or C. The wealth of D prospects will come in very handy if need be, imho.

Disappointed int he overall lack of trades during the draft.

Use to be a time it happened fairly often, seems to have slowed down a lot these last few years.

Oh well. Hopefully some fireworks tomorrow.

meh, not sure why it can't be true. personally I don't really care, if the kid does have a really good relationship with the team that drafted him it's all good with me.

I'm only hoping to see Guhle or Reinbacher make him pay when he comes in the habs zone in a few years lol

A lot of teams have cap issues so it complicates things quite a bit.

Absolutely not….

It is just that all those interviews, dinners and crap are only there to create rumours and a buzz…

So we all watch that draft hoping for action and it ends up like a Sens - Coyote game in Ottawa on a Tuesday night in November…

you don't think teams are there to actually meet the players and determine whether or not they want them to be part of their organization? come on.
