There is word that Jesse Puljujarvi recently underwent double hip surgery and is facing a lengthy recovery. He won't receive a qualifying offer from the #hurricanes before tomorrow's deadline and will become an unrestricted free agent.

Or here is a genius idea, try doing something that's not the organizational norm no matter what management team is involved? How much of an organizational train wreck track record do you need to have before trying the approach of not going for what is likely a 'positional need'. They reach on centres or forwards when they're not there and then do the same here? Same old same old. - Habsolute009
If you are so jaded that you cannot recognize how this management group is different than any in the previous 30+ years, then there is nothing that anyone can say that will change your mind.
We get it.
They are poop.

I don’t trust austrians they insist they are not germans, but they speak german and always go to war with Germany.

I am just pointing out the absurdity of you thinking that past history under different people is replicated under current management, based on your opinion that one draft pick may not be the BPA.

Or if you weren’t a blind supporter of what management does you’d realize that ‘organizationally this is how we do business’ and organizationally it’s not working for decades. Critical thinking and criticism is entirely fair of a sports team someone supports. A fan base full of people like you is a disaster in itself.
We get it, you support whatever the management team does, in Hughes you trust, this time it’s different! I swear! Etc etc. |

New management doesn’t necessarily translate to a change in organizational philosophy either, specially with the same owner in place. |

I am not a blind supporter.
I said we will not know how this turns out for a few years, and suggested that the team has a plan that their pick certainly fit into it.
But I did not present myself as Kreskin, knowing this was a bad pick and a disaster in the making.
If you wanna rant and rave, go nuts.
I am tired of this.

looked him up. interesting stance. he seems to overlap his right pad over his left a good distance. has had to put up with some real ugly uniforms so the nice habs jersey should be a relief. |

They are ripping down the team and starting over for the first time in.... forever? Rather than patching up with whatever they can get in the hopes to make the playoffs and then have the "anything can happen" attitude.
Seems like a very large change in organizational philosophy.
I could be wrong, but doubt it.

people expect changes in year 1, doesn't work that way. It takes a few years to move from some bad contracts, draft and develop players.
When they say the habs can't rebuild, the fanbase won't accept it, that's what they mean, a portion of the fanbase wants results right away.
