They are ripping down the team and starting over for the first time in.... forever? Rather than patching up with whatever they can get in the hopes to make the playoffs and then have the "anything can happen" attitude.

Seems like a very large change in organizational philosophy.

i don't watch at all anymore. i just hear bits about the modern stuff on corny's podcasts.

I suspect Primeau is nearing the end of his time with the Habs, unless he does something unexpected in camp. They also cut one of their goalie prospects earlier in the year, too (if I recall)..

Yeah, they can lose Primeau on waivers this year and they didn't sign Dichow, so there's a need to fill the cupboard there...hopefully they strike gold with one of those guys.
