Couture is 34 and signed for four more years at 8 million and year, yikes!! Like to see them take Myers off the Canucks hands though. |

It was reminding me of OEL all over again.
It would have to be Garland and Myers for LC. Otherwise FO. |

That kids good!! - LeftCoaster
I agree. His vision is unreal and his playmaking makes his linemates better. The last half of this year PG also was putting him on the PK and playing 2-way hockey.
I think you’re bang on the money, Judd Brackett was probably blown away that he was still available. |

Those are things that can be easily worked upon. To get a PPG WHL player in his draft year in the 7th round. Normally PPG CHL'ers are gone by the 2nd round. - manvanfan
I think he slipped because a lot of scouts saw the same things I did. Aside from Stankhoven on Kamloops the other guy that stood out to me was Hofer. A PPG guy that went last year in the 6th. Usually had the entire team after him by the end of the game. |

Matt Calvert type of player, scouts are usually right on these types of things. He was almost a PPG player for Brandon in his draft year but taken in the 5th round. The scouts got it right. Serviceable player though. |

Well Canucks started their draft well. I just don’t understand what happened later. They even passed on RSD Stanley. Do those other picks have high hockey IQ? |

Bill Guerin on how excited his scouts were when they selected Riley Heidt at No. 64

I guess you racists need to stick together. Why don't you give him one of your 9 jobs on the cruise ship cleaning toilets and you can sail off together and go find some Japanese broads and hate white people together.
Buth hey thanks Chief always appreciate hearing from a second idiot.

Scott Glennie, Calvert's line mate was taken 8th to Dallas. Bust. Brayden Schenn with a ring.
Canucks took an overage kid that scored less than McDonough 3 rounds higher than McDonough.
I don't have issue with the big Swede or the college kid. At least he near the top of his league where Perkins isn't close.
Celebrini reminds me of the Jackson Dorrington pick from last year. |

R4 was definitely a head scratcher, I like Celebrini where we got him and I think our 1st and 3rd round picks were fantastic. |

Flyers got an absolute body crusher in Matteo Mann in the 7th round...huge kid!! Brackett got excellent value with Riley Heidt in the second round, last pick, damn he's good! (Brackett)
In the past 20 years only 5 U18 WHL skaters produced more than Riley Heidt. This was such a deep draft...incredible!! - LeftCoaster
Brackett is good because he drafted a faller that other teams didn’t want? |
