General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the #Canucks have extended qualifying offers to the following three players:
- Akito Hirose
- Nils Höglander
- Vitali Kravtsov

The club did not issue qualifying offers to:
- Ethan Bear
- Travis Dermott
- Carson Focht

Hope not - that would just be making the exact same mistakes they do every FA

Also Kerfoot is possibly the worst fit for us, 3C available - I bet if u give Dries the same minutes they’d end up with similar numbers or better - at a fraction the price and shorter term

Most teams do and Canucks have from time to time but normally D, not sub 6' and top of their league.

Ty Mueller was a free agent this Saturday. Otherwise fine, he is playing well at the college level.

Perkins is 40th in PPG as a draft plus 1 and less than a PPG. If that was a CHL kid he wouldn't be thought about. It's Nielsen and Wouters territory. Undrafted who still don't have NHL contracts.

This is exactly the kind of thing that doesn't make headlines, but is why canucks have been perpetually short on picks and prospects of late. Few burn picks like van.
