I remember how guys like JTM said PK losing games for Canucks could have been difference for making playoffs. These moves today could address that among the other changes. |

Not to mention a full year of a healthy demmer versus the dynamic duo of Delia and Martin. |

They need Woo to replace Cole next season. At this point anyways. That or trade him. |

We can sign Myers next year to a three mil contract if things go sour.

Canucks are stronger defensively, PK got a big boost, bigger and nothing long term. I like that.
Would like to see the 3c improved. Blueger is more of a 4c fit. Maybe he steps it up but at this point it's just added depth in the middle. |

The team should be better. It was a pretty vanilla week for me but there is not much to complain about.

They got bigger, slower on C and D and are capped out once more, can't be much worse than what we had unless Cole or Soucy get injured and we're back to square one (which tends to be a thing in the UFAs we sign). If the PK is better than last year, then great, I guess?
As stated, at least we're not locked in for more than 3 years on Soucy and Cole and Blueger are 1 year deals so if those two don't work out they're easily tradeable assets at TDL. Let's go Canucks? Sorta? Maybe?
They better make the playoffs because I don't think EP is signing here unless they do and even then, it's going to be 10.5+x8 after he breaks Henrik's single season scoring record. |

We got slower on C and D. Let’s hear your explanation on this. Should be fun |

I enjoy how he treats fans and media like they are morons. GM troll 😍 - CanuckDon
Sarcasm at it's finest. Local media deserves to be treated like that. |

Just got home today at around noon and missed most of the draft, and FA since I went to bed when I got back for a few hours.
The draft was a little underwhelming, I don't really understand the overage picks. I do like the 1st round pick, seems solid if nothing else. I also liked that we drafted multiple D. It would have been a much more interesting decision had Dvorsky slipped another spot.
FA is interesting, a bunch of money this year but only 3.25 moving forward. Really my biggest take though is that the Canucks became much tougher to play against. |

83 pts —> 90 pts…..muddy middle. Should be more entertaining to watch as they won’t be picking the puck out of their net as much. |

If Demko doesn't struggle for the first couple of months and stays relatively healthy, they could do better than that.

We don't struggle to score most of the time, keeping an extra half goal out of your net per game seems like a solid way to improve. |
