agree to disagree on this one. You have to think with all these signings he isn’t thinking rebuild is he? - neem55

You actually think those are meaningful signings? LOL...he's openly said they aren't ready to compete, those are filler positions. He still has 10 million dollars in cap space and at this years trade deadline he'll have 46 million dollars in cap space. What he's doing is way above your comprehension level. For 2024/25 he'll have roughly 38 million dollars in cap space, that man has a plan and he's sticking to it. - LeftCoaster
I thought you cared about cap space? Flushing $20MM down the toilet is a unique strategy. Whatever makes you happy i guess fanboy |

He writes Stevie Y little fanboy letters daily asking if they can meet one day and play catch. Maybe Yzerman told him to move back to Canada and then changed his mind? |

You still have to sell tickets, he's just buying time for all his prospects to develop. Yzerman also has Boston's first round pick next year and they are about to tank, the guy is pure hockey genius. Top ten protected though I think?
I'd love for the Canucks to blow the sh it out of their entire roster and go full rebuild, I'd even trade Pettersson, but they aren't gonna do that, so I get their moves. Yzerman is just more honest about the process and his owner isn't pressuring him so make the playoffs. |

I guess we'll see how it plays out, definitely two different methods at play with the Wings and Canucks. |

Evan Rodrigues and Will Lockwood will join OEL in Florida.
Still don't know how I feel about the week. Yes we improved but I think we are still a bubble team and for that I would have rather stayed at 11 pick and kept our draft picks.
There could be a number of reasons for the Hronek trade. The hockey should be better for sure, and I am actually looking forward to seeing DPetey Lickermakki and Willander make the team in a couple of years, but I would have liked to had the picks. I get a bit of mixed messages. If the plan was to be a good playoff team this year they failed IMO but if the plan was to tread water this year and build the future at the same tim, then they did OK.
The middle sucks. Be really good or really bad.
I think Willander will turn out to be a good pick. - VANTEL
Watching the under 18s willander looked better than pelican, he stood out with his mobility, it definitely caught my eye. That better 😆 |

Entry lever contract good signing for depth or to steal a spot.

Calgary just signed a Poolman. They could have just traded for ours. Tanev Hanifin for Poolman and a third. |

It's not his entry level contract, he signed that last March. It's his second contract and it's a two year deal. Two-way in year one and one-way in year two....good deal. |
