The great Stevie Y signing Copp and Compher to 5m deals that are .46 and .43 career players.

That's probably true with most professions, just my opinion, very few people are worth what they get paid or contribute to their companies. Especially union people.

Yzerman is so smart, he's always five steps ahead of everyone else, just a brilliant NHL General Manager!!! I was looking at their staff, the Red Wings, I was curious who their director of amateur scout is (Chris Draper), they have a ton of former Red Wing players on their staff.

Jonathan Lekkerimaki went through a lot for an 18 year old kid last year, he doesn't turn 19 until the end of this month. He's going to be a nice player for the Canucks for many years to come once he matures mentally and further develops his game.

St. Louis had a nice draft, Chicago probably had the best draft IMHO, followed by San Jose, Philadelphia, Arizona and Detroit.

I think Lekkerimaki still has a ways to go. Willander getting lots of praise for his mobility. So does Jurmo but Willander looks like he comes with a high hockey IQ unlike Jurmo.
