Retinalz mentioned Sanheim as a Canuck potential trade. That would be interesting.
It would lock up the D for years to come. Hughes Sanheim Hronek Willander Soucy DPetey extras Juulsen Briesbois. |

Using as a guide…

Plenty of trades that don’t fetch much in a flat cap crunch offseason.
Players like Garlands contracts look immovable til the TDL at soonest. If the Myers to SJ for Labanc is real we gain some cap space for a possible flip at the TDL. Getting another winger has to mean another going out. There has to be more coming while SJ holds up the deal trying to move out EK. |

I like how Finns play with an edge & desire to out work ops. Hoping Raty can become this. Jurmo is a tease but he just cannot figure it out or maybe never. Great skater but the hockey IQ of a gnat it seems lol. He needs AHL coaching & seasoning imo. - Nighthawk
Jurmo is still young. Same as Hoglander Podkolzin. Need to stop rushing young players unless they have a definite showing of NHL ready skill.

Flyers tried hard to get Allvin to work out a trade, Allvin said no thanks. |

I still don’t get why Sanheim is sought after given 8/6.25m. What is it they see in him? |

I’d be pretty surprised if they offered Jurmo a contract |

He is a decent player but another long contract probably scared PA off.

I don’t think he is sought after. At least not at his contract |

Not rushing them but I do need to see them develop on small ice in the A. Hog is not waiver exempt. Pod has to be more consistent. |

At 6.25 million with a full no trade clause for the first four of eight years he's paid too much, thanks Cliff Fletcher, if the Flyers ate some of that he might be worth it. He's not terrible, he's just not wow at anything. |

I think they are on the fence with him and will take the full year to decide. They will watch him closely this year. There is something there they just need to find a way to bring it out everyday.

Only thing about Jurmo is that a draft plus 3 player that is a healthy scratch or 3rd pair a game even in a men's league has a very low chance of making it in the NHL. The role he had this year is the role he should have had 2 years ago if he was gonna have a legit shot at the NHL. |

He is paid as a 2nd pairing defender because that is what he is. That's what 2nd pairs get now a days 6 plus. |

On good teams a 3D gets that. At best he’s a 4D imo & not sold on that. |

Yes, they'd have to eat some dollars.

The good thing about this year is the team should be dressing an NHL roster every night and not players like Dries De Guiseppe and Raty.
A Player like Pearson Bolg and Podz as a third line might turn out to be a good shut down line.

Not on winning teams they don't. On teams that don't manage their cap well, perhaps. |

Sucks that your new GM doesn’t communicate with his top prospects man. I’d be worried he is worse than Fletcher and Yzerman |

Easy...rookie mistake, he shouldn't have said anything if he didn't know. They are in good hands. |
