I think by the end of the season some players will get some time, like possibly Raty or Woo. In reality however we likely won't see much coming in for another season.

Licky needs to be a dominant scorer & play driver to be a top 6 future winger. Consistency is his priority & not be a liability.

Klimovich is showing growth but it’s a big AHL season for him to show he has a real NHL future. He could be a beasty type winger that RT could love if he can find an extra gear or 2. Middle 6 winger potential or a very good 4th liner who can give offence.

Had high hopes Bones could be a offensive D on the 2nd pair.

Drafting Hughes & his concussions set him back big. Good skating & shot are hard to find for many teams. If he moves on he’ll get another chance somewhere else on the cheap.

Not exempt has him challenged to succeed or a new address maybe. Cannot keep all prospects under control indefinitely.

He had 17 goals this year in Abby. It is his second year of complete professional hockey. He came here to a new continent, smaller ice surface, playing now against adults as an 18 year old.

I agree somewhat with Kman that at long periods of ice time there was not a lot happening but he had his moments of dominance also. I think traing with Pods will show him you need to be involved every shift. I expect another step this year.

This year Abby looks to be a very good team & very exciting time for fans to watch & support them.

Plenty of competition for all prospects & we’ll see who has the chops to stand out & who won’t.

Max Sasson could be a 4th line C call up due to injuries or cuz Aman is exempt & gets sent down.

On Woo I’m hoping his injury setbacks are behind him & his confidence continues to grow. If that happens he could be a near future 3 RHD or a good depth D. His game & physicality translate well. Still young but he needs a statement AHL season.

Woo is a RH Briesbois. There is something there and it is the borderline minimal required to be a NHL player ( I think). Is it enough? Probably not if you are looking to be a contending team. I think sending him down would be a positive sign that the bar has risen. Same as Briesbois.

All in all we’ve plenty of fringe NHL type prospects in the system.

Not ideal tbh. There is a handful that can amount to more. It’ll all come down to highest competition in Abby for them to rise or sink & seeing who wants it more & dominate above expectations.
