Nobody ever wants to play for the Flames. They get sucked in with the Flames Foundation and canât get out!
Seriously this is going to be a problem for all Canadian teams. Draisaitl has 2 years left, do you think if the Oilers donât make some noice this year he wonât want to play somewhere else not in Canada? I wouldnât be suprised if the Oilers bow out early again, he doesnât inform Holland he wonât sign an extension.
Could happen with Petey here in Vancouver, Canucks miss the playoffs again, whatâs to stop him from wanting out?
Mathewâs in Toronto. He sees others determining where they want to play and goes there to finish his career.
Make fun all you want, but itâs going to get harder and harder for Canadian teams to keep their stars. |

Well some places are nicer to live in & family reasons dictates more than you mentioned. Swedes tend to luv BC given the outdoors & similar coast to the home land.
As for Matthews heâll come outta the closet soon đđ€Ș |

Not earth shatteringâŠ

Does say how many D were needed to get through last season. Our D depth has improved albeit nothing spectacular. - Nighthawk
The Great Jim Benning once said " you need 10 defensemen, in order to succeed in this league".
Pretty earth-shattering news

Youâre confused laddie. Diehard fan means in good times & bad. Quitters on the other hand are miserable & bitter repeatedly rewording the same diatribe seeking out more of their own kind for comfort. |

Telling people how to be a fan, again,.
My definition of a diehard fan is a guzzler who waves pom-poms over everything the team does, especially during the off-season, then claims we will get them next year, when they realize the season is done.
A few tweaks is all it takes. |

Diehard Fan = Someone who thinks the glass is completely full, even when it's less than a third full of brackish and dirty water and mold is growing on the inside.
Bandwagoner = Someone who thinks the glass is half full when they're thirsty for something to drink, but thinks the glass is half empty when they're not thirsty or else not wanting to drink the kool-aid
Everyone else = Drinks beer, smokes weed, doesn't give a poop because what does it matter if the glass is full, half full, half empty or completely empty it's all the same because water is wet and why worry about it. |

Still confused as usual I see. I speak for myself as being a diehard. Win or lose Iâll remain one. Idgaf about pouty Bruin losers. I donât require your definitions or validation or sad attempts of who is what or this or that high school nattering. |

Hey, I heard the Kitamat LNG site might be closed down because the staff who work the workerâs camp want to go on strike. Did you work on that project? How bad is the camp for staff to threaten strike? |
