Regarding Alex Galchenyuk, who is going to have his contract terminated by the
@ArizonaCoyotes
just 12 days after they signed him.

An NHL source tells ESPN that the Coyotes had discovered an "off-ice situation" impacting Galchenyuk that was previously unknown to the team.

Alex Galchenyuk waived, signed by ARI July 1st. Wonder what's up and if he might be a cheap invite or signing?

Peace trade. If there is a three way deal in the mix here that could include SJ? It happens in Sept.

SJ gets Myers after the 5 mil is paid, Van’s first in 24 and something like Carolina’s 2nd. Add in one or two B prospects or later picks that close the deal. Say D Rathbone from Van and/or a Carolina 4th.

Carolina gets Karralson (3 mil retained) and Hoglander.

Vancouver gets Pesce and the space under the cap.

We certainly have enough fringe level nhl'ers without off ice issues already. We're likely to lose a couple home-grown ones through waivers as it is, don't see a point in adding to the list.

I don't want to give up another first round pick. I was very impressed with this years selection and do not want to throw more first round picks away unless they are going to make a difference in a deep run playoff. I don't see Hronek being that game changer nor Pesce.

Secondly I am expecting more out of Hoglander than most on here and I feel if we trade him or lose him on waivers we could be talking about on par with a Chatfield type loss.

I think it is too much.
