OEL was one of the worst in the league last year, they added two plus 5v5 defenders that came from top teams in the league. I'd give them maybe 5-8 more wins than last season if Demko plays half decent throughout the year

Dries was 23 seconds a game. I'd hardly call that playing the PK.

Cole and Soucey were twice as good as Schenn and Burroughs were on the PK. OEL was possible worst in the league.

Overall good business by VAN to address their biggest shortcomings defensively and on the PK.

In order for today to be a real win they need to be right on Soucy, if he can credibly play in the top 4 for 3 years it really addresses a significant role
