Got rid of Burroughs, Bear, Schenn. Pretty well entire right side from last season and picked up Cole, Irwin, Soucey all left defenders. Hronek is lonesome.

Cole or Soucey will be tried on the right side of Hughes.

Cole and Soucey both play a lot on the right side. As of now, we still have Myers. Totally fine having cole play the right side w Quinn

We need some grit or toughness. I hope we can get players on 2-way contracts that can add that.

Sort of but Podz and Aman can still go down to minors freely and Studnicka, Dries were pretty meh. That only leaves 12 with PEArson.

Brooks is usually a pro Canucks guy. I don't think his comments are far off. We cleared cap and got rid of a bad contract to create cap room to sign mediocre contracts to be a bubble team again and max out the cap.

I am pretty unopinionated about today, but I definitely don't think they hit a home run. I think we only moved the needle slightly IMO but we did not commit long term which is fine.
