I wouldn't read too much into it. The Rockets were a bigger turd sandwich under Mallette last year with much better players. They're gonna suck again this year....maybe even worse than the Royals.

I wouldn't read too much into it. The Rockets were a bigger turd sandwich under Mallette last year with much better players. They're gonna suck again this year....maybe even worse than the Royals.

I was a season ticket holder when Foote was the coach, Nolan and Cal benefitted the most. I agree Rockets are in for another rough season, I’ll go to games til we head south which probably won’t be til December some time. Junior hockey is very entertaining, you’ve got kids that make mistakes and create scoring chances, which provides excitement. Not like NHL systems hockey, where everything is laid out for you again and again.
I’m suprised the Canucks didn’t try to get Cal, he’s was a great junior player and still relatively young

I was a season ticket holder when Foote was the coach, Nolan and Cal benefitted the most. I agree Rockets are in for another rough season, I’ll go to games til we head south which probably won’t be til December some time. Junior hockey is very entertaining, you’ve got kids that make mistakes and create scoring chances, which provides excitement. Not like NHL systems hockey, where everything is laid out for you again and again.

Yeah, it's honest hockey. The warts haven't been coached out of the players nor the creativity. Plus the year to year development of the kids can be pretty amazing with some players.

The Royals drafted Keaton Verhoeff, 15 years old 6'3" RHD with their 1st rounder this year. Can't wait to watch this kid develop after all the crapty Dmen they've had over the last couple. They desperately need a Goalie though.

The Blades are my early favourites. I think they'll take another step this year.

I liked what I saw from Tij last year. Good little player not afraid to get his nose dirty at 16. He looked like he grew a couple of inches by the end of the year too. Probably your future Captain. He got shafted by Seattle during the playoffs. Should've seen some more action.
