Going 1 for 18 on the power play in the playoffs certainly doesn’t help your chances of winning. Then again, they’ve been towards the bottom of the league in PP for years. Something has to change to get that going. Just one man’s opinion.

Tor gets Karlson
SJ gets Brodie JGP and some picks from Tor and NYI and or prospects

SJ saves 1.5 m and gets some picks/prospects
Tor already needs to get under cap anyway so they still would have to. Let them figure it out.

NYI would still have to unload a contract but they would have their top line wing.

Yes I do. Go all in this year. If by some chance the Isles are having a bad year flip Nylander at the deadline. If they can sign him long term ok , if not make a run for cup this year, and have some cap space next season.

It's really not Vukota. The Wings were DeBrincat's #1 spot. Islanders in a tough spot trying to bring in outside help locking up their own players.

Well JGP for Nylander makes team salary go up 1.5 more I believe? So try to dump Ross or even clutterbuck. That should get them below for 23-24.
