might be worth it - Aetherial
Could deal Jarnkrok and/or Timmins for picks to put towards said deal and to make room for his cap hit in the first place. |

Jesus we need to get back to havin those hardline refs again in here.
As for today Im still 🤮 with the moves. Im pretty disappointedwith the state of things but its early, see how it all shakes out but not at all a fan of the moves so far. - Roadrunner75
At least Domi, Bertuzzi, Reaves gives them a different look. I guess we just hope that leads to a different result. |

I'd have absolutely no problem trading Lafferty and fitting Robertson in. Robertson is a kid and deserves a shot. At worst, you'd need to trade for a Lafferty type player come deadline. But Robertson has skill for days and an insanely good shot.
I'd roll-
Bertuzzi - Matthews - Nylander
Knies - Tavares - Marner
Robertson - Domi - Jarnkrok
Holmberg - Kampf - Reaves - GreatGigInTheSky
That 3rd line could get caved into their own zone by most teams.

I hear you. And agree on a lot of what you said about Robertson. But I'd have a hard time putting Domi at 3C given his huge defensive liabilities. Feel like that would be easier to mask on the wing |

Or just a 2nd ref in general, since Dozzer has a life to live. His little girl just got married. Life takes priority. |

Doctors say obesity and diabetes do appear to put people at higher risk of severe disease, but the biggest risk factor is those who have skipped getting their vaccine.
This is where the Omicron wave is starting to show its worst side: inside the ICU at Toronto General, which is filling up with critically ill COVID-19 patients, the majority of whom are unvaccinated.
Doctors say obesity and diabetes do appear to put people at higher risk of severe disease, but the biggest risk factor is those who have skipped getting their vaccine.
In Canada the unvaccinated make up less than 13 per cent of the population.
At Toronto General, which cares for the sickest COVID-19 patients, 70 per cent in the intensive care unit are not vaccinated.
Fully vaccinated people are still far less likely to be hospitalized with the virus. According to the Ontario Science Table’s online dashboard, on Tuesday there were 762 hospitalizations per one million people among the unvaccinated, compared to 171 hospitalizations per one million people among those with at least two vaccine doses. - Aetherial

See what I mean, Aeth. - Canada Cup Ah, no. He was President from 2008 -2016. Biden was his Vice-President. Clinton was President in 1994. I met him in 1995 at the Governor's Convention in Burlington, Vermont. (1992 -2000) George W. Bush (2000 - 2008) |

OK, I've read all of the nonsense and misinformation on here. Why is there war in Ukraine? Barack Obama convinced Ukraine to give up their nuclear weapons, in exchange for a guarantee from Russia, that they wouldn't invade. Part of the deal gave Russia sovereignty over Crimea. Part of the deal was that Ukraine would not join NATO in the future. In 2014, however, the U.S. started building Chemical and Biological weapons factories in Ukraine. That enraged Russia and they threatened retaliation. Trump was then elected in 2016 and soothed the Russian's fear and said that they were going to be dismantled under his administration.
Fast-forward to 2018 and the midterm elections. Before these weapons of mass destruction could be mothballed, the Democrats regained control of the Senate. They stonewalled the government from removing these factories and then Covid hit, then the 2020 election happened. With a Democratic Presidency, Senate and House, the Military Industrial Complex decided that they wanted regime change in Russia. Putin made a very bad strategic decision to mass men and weaponry along the border with Ukraine. It was originally supposed to be a show of force. The idiot Biden administration decided to Sabre rattle and backed Russia into a corner. Fearing that they were going to lose face, they decided to try to win a quick, decisive victory and put an end to the Chemical and Biological weapons factories in Ukraine. Their blitzkrieg went off the rails and they were bogged down in Ukraine and there they sit, still trying to save face. Of course, we're spending billions of dollars to prop up the corrupt Ukrainian regime and inflation is hurting us all financially. The Military Industrial Complex are the one's getting rich and the politicians of all stripe that do their bidding are too. We are all suckers! - PrinceLH

I think you have to play Robertson in the top 6 for him to be effective. His defence needs some work imo.
Looks like there is at least one more big move to come though |

How you going to pay Sammy? Muzzin on LTIR and Murray moved leaves just over $2M with 12 forwards, 7 D and 2 goalies They might have to move someone just to get him paid |

I'm assuming entirely that they'd be given most shifts against lower lines.
But Robertson is good defensively. |

For sure. And you're not wrong. But I feel like most of his C failures were because he was shoehorned into a top 2 C position, which is a miscast.
But, if he still comes up short, move Kampf up to 3C and Jarnkrok to 4th line wing with Holmberg as 4C. Jarnkrok can play the left side, he did it last season with Matthews form time to time. |

The post tries to sound reasonable, factual, rational and convincing.
Then paragraph 2 starts to put together a timeline where, literally every reason for the war is the democrats, including the quote "The idiot Biden administration".
The post can't be taken seriously. It is ridiculously narrow and anti-left focused.

Domi absolutely sucks defensively as does Bertuzzi.
There is zero chance he's playing 3C especially signing as a UFA and taking a discount to boot.
If they wanted to give Robertson a chance, they would have left Reaves in the retirement line where he belongs.
And trading Lafferty would be a joke. He's one of their best skaters, two-way bottom six wingers. Shame they kept Kampf over Acciari because they were a great tandem on the 3rd line. |

1X3M
2 years would be great if they could.
They can move Timmins and have a cheaper 7-8 D.
Jarnkrok.
Lafferty isnt a lock..Stastny or Toews both probably sign for close to league minimum.
I am sure there are others out there that would sign for cheap and bring the same as Lafferty and Timmins.
Zadorov would be 1.85M at 50% retained. They could make it work if they wanted to. |

Have any/most credible sources determined that the Russians were not lying and the USA was actually funding Biological weapon labs?

Nah. D is already a bit iffy. If they need $, will have to be someone like Calle or Lafferty. |
