Florida, imo, is a hard maybe to even qualify for the playoffs. Vegas is out West, so only face them twice a year.

But NYR and Carolina are very good teams. That's still only a handful of games, though. Could change things up when facing them, too.

Rangers seem to have too many players that play a similar game up front. They always seem to implode come playoff time. Watch out for New Jersey this year. Carolina plays playoff hockey all season long and can't up their game in the playoffs when it counts. The Atlantic is wide open for the taking. One of Ottawa, Detroit or Buffalo will get in this year. Pittsburgh will supplant the Islanders for 4th place in the Metro. If Leafs land a top 4 defender, they have enough firepower to take 1st in the Atlantic. They could drop down to 110 points and still win the division.

I said a long time ago Domi at 3 million and it happened so I don't know what you're getting at. He's just not gonna play 3C because he sucks defensively.

Bertuzzi was a waste of money by comparison. Was better off with just Domi than spending 5.5 million on 8 goals when you can pay a guy 3 or less and they'd still get 20+ with Matthews and Marner.

His defensive short comings don't seem like they make up for the offense. He's basically another Bunting. And remember, 5 goals and blew a 3-1 lead so maybe he's adding to the choking problem the Leafs already have.

Klingberg, Domi, Bertuzzi, Reaves; these guys they are bringing in are either bad or very bad defensively and they're unlikely to score enough to make up for it.
