Perfect year to do it to, there was some decent talent available that could have helped. Well unfortunately as soon as Girgensons was brought back you knew that they were basically done up front.

Don's extension kicks in a year from now. As much as I think there should be some pressure on him, there isn't. They aren't firing him before the extension even starts.

Just seems like they aren't willing to pay the price and settle for bottom of the roster guys and hope they play better than expected.

Next year, things have to start to change. Missed opportunities this year and last.

I’m fine with Erik Johnson on the third pair. It’s an upgrade. Signing Okposo, Girgensons and Yost is egregiously bad GM’ing given our current overall situation. Even 2/3 of those signed is questionable in my opinion. If the plan is to be good the year after next then prospects should be occupying those roster spots. Just baffling asset management. I don’t understand wtf he’s doing, barring some trades that really blow our doors off. I hope Gerbs is right.
