I’m fine with Erik Johnson on the third pair. It’s an upgrade. Signing Okposo, Girgensons and Yost is egregiously bad GM’ing given our current overall situation. Even 2/3 of those signed is questionable in my opinion. If the plan is to be good the year after next then prospects should be occupying those roster spots. Just baffling asset management. I don’t understand wtf he’s doing, barring some trades that really blow our doors off. I hope Gerbs is right.

I don't believe they are done, having 800 Goalies and 2,000 Dmen signed is a signal to me.
It was time last season to turn the page on Girgenson and Okposo for sure. I have been very vocal about it. When they signed those two, I knew Jost was coming back as well. Very disappointing and completely unnecessary IMO.
Kevin should listen to more Tom Petty...Learning to Fly. Have Grandpa's guide the team is crazy.

They were one of the top defensive shutdown lines in the league last year. Given that and their experience, what's not to understand? Too many 21 year old in the lineup isn't a good thing. I know they don't score much but we were 3rd in the league in scoring - that's not their role

Don's extension kicks in a year from now. As much as I think there should be some pressure on him, there isn't. They aren't firing him before the extension even starts.

Growing pains. Development isn't linear. Sacrificed some success this year to develop prospects the right way. Valuable experience.

The actual story behind his firing: The suit had stilts built into the legs to make him taller, and they asked him to do some of his own stunts.

The stunt that got him fired was a jump off a 12 foot ledge, in full-suit. He said he would break his legs. So they had the stuntman do it. He broke both his legs.

There are rumors Arnold was jealous of JCVD because he could actually act and actually had talent and wasn’t just a beefy rapist and the stunt was an attempt to ruin his career.
