How do you measure your vibe levels if you're still adding vibe?

Question for those who support the methodical building method: if the Sabres miss the playoffs by a couple points next season, would you still support the plan?

Ok maybe I was wrong. I’m glad we have Benson and didn’t trade the pick.

Kid looks dynamite

- sbroads24

Literally the best playmaker since McDavid. You can’t be mad at the pick even when it happened.

Short answer yes. Long answer isn’t worth it because no matter how an answer is phrased you’ll grab something completely out of context and slam dunk on it convinced you’ve made a point. And then the same three sock puppet accounts will all magically appear and agree with you.

Grab a new diaper, your's is full.

I do not have an alternate accounts. Believe me or not.
I troll just fine from this account ☝

You really think Max Domi wants to sit in the 4th line and get no PP time?

Or duchene. (Who was linked to only the stars.) You think he wants to chill on the Sabres 3rd line and have a limited role?

Good luck with that idea

- Sabretooth9

Why would Duchene have been on the Sabres 3rd line and have a limited role?

Everything about the way you behave screams insecurity. From the self-aggrandizing name, to the sock puppet accounts, to the passive aggressive use of emojis like a 13 year old girl. You can’t help yourself.

Although you have been better lately. That’s piqued my curiosity a bit.

- SoCalPucks

Hypothetically speaking, that's all you got.

Pity party day in day out. Life must really suck for you.

Crying about the Sabres, bullying me....

Why such a bully and hypocrite?

Again, I has no alternate accounts. I dont need any to troll posters like you. I was just kidding with you.... but bullies cant take a joke.

I imagined they would sign him and use him in practice so he can teach the other players. The Sabres are young and can run just 3 lines, plenty of energy there.

Got up too late unfortunately, that was the plan though.

Watched some highlights, they were really missing some of kulich, rosen ect from a fan perspective.

Benson looked good, although he probably should.

How about you? Any thoughts?

Maybe he lived on the wrong side of 8 mile in Detroit, a bad real estate agent can ruin your life.

Set him up in Lockport and let him thrive...

I don't understand why it seems to be written in stone that Peterka and Quinn need to be on the 2nd line with Cozens.

There would be absolutely nothing wrong with bringing in another winger, or even two, that are better as players on Cozens line.

Perhaps a Tuch lite winger added to Cozens line would make a giant difference.

Let Peterka and Quinn do damage in the 3rd line.

Guy wakes up today just looking to be an internet bully.

What does this have to do with an opinion on hockey or the sabres?

Just a personal attack for no reason.

You need to look in the mirror at your insecurities and wny you would attack me for no reason. Seriously, your an internet tough guy bully.

I'm sure your proud of yourself. Just mind your own business if you have nothing to say hockey wise..

Look at what you wrote, for zero reason , you're a tool.

I liked they ran it like the FHL summer league. A lot of the players look (play) the same out there, I only watched the first 10 minutes.

I am interested in the development of Mats Lindgren, I see a lot of upside in him.

Should have traded the pick
Glad we made the pick
Benson looks good
He should look good

Any reason to ever be excited?

- Boss34

Why be excited for something that might come to fruition in 2 or 3 years?

I am over being excited about what could be. I want to be excited on what is. There are players I am excited about, but there are also holes that weren't addressed that makes me very frustrated. Throw in a Quinn injury, the 10 NHL D contracts and still having 3 unproven goaltenders one of which has 7 games under his belt and I am sitting here wondering when Adams is going to back up this quote:

Sabres GM Kevyn Adams said he must be prepared to make "difficult decisions."

"I want to win and I want to win really bad and I want to win as much as you can possibly want that."

Nothing he has done suggests he has made any difficult decisions...

Zach Benson is extremely good and is worthy of a top 10 pick. His height, and Arizona being Arizona, allowed him to fall to us.

People (local media/bloggers) were spazzing out for two months wondering if Benson would fall to us due to size. Getting a kid like that allows you to use a prospect asset like a Rosen to improve your team.

If the Sabres start reaching playoff level hockey, those prospects are going to be worth more than our first round picks.

Something to consider.

- TheSabresTaco

When Adams trades any of his higher rated prospects, that would be the first of such trade for him...

What I noticed and didnt particularly like, bensons empty netter at the end. Looks like guys pulled a reinfart and quit completely on the backcheck/play.

Everyone should be going balls out IMO. The entire time.

Good well thought out post and I appreciate your opinion.

I'm kinda probably reasoning this out a bit too much with some fandom but:

The entire defense man for man should be better.
Dahlin better
Samuelsson healthier and better
Power older and better

Stealing a bottom pair from the division opponents and using Clifford instead of joker is an upgrade.
Boosh should be healthier
Johnson is exactly what this core needs IMO. A player / coach.
Joker down a paring to 3rd should help him.

Last 4 moves ka made have addressed the softness factor.

Stillman
#12
Johnosn
Clifford.

Maybe they a baby steps, but that's 4 harder to play against guys in a row....

Depends on the circumstances. I might rethink my position if nothing anomalous happens and we miss.
