1 day too young to play in the AHL this year. |

Are you kidding me? So he either plays in Jr. or for the Sabres? Those rules are flawed. Makes no sense. |

Unless they change the rules because of covid, I believe he is 1 day too young to play with Roch. |

Meant young. It's a crap rule.
1/1 Birthday. 12/31 cutoff.

But there is always going to be a line, regardless of where you draw it. If Auston Mathews was a day older, he would have been ours instead of Jack.

Give him 9 games with Savoie, I believe they have to play 9 games before a determination is required before sending him back to juniors.
Have both of them play a total of 9 games but not the same 9 games. That gives you 18 games, with Quinn out that gets you through all of October and most of November. Then send both of them back to juniors... - Stripes77
This is interesting, believable with the commitment to keeping it in house.

Terrible. He has nothing left to gain in Jr. Doubt he makes the Sabres.

Sure. I'd like the line to be the end of 1st round. Maybe put a $ cost on it to compensate. |

I think Matt Savoie is the closest comp to him as far as playstyle is concerned, but he's a dog like Nadeau but so much more dynamic like Savoie.
My guess, he pushes for a roster spot in 24-5
He'll need to put on 10 lbs this year. - TheSabresTaco
Smitty's Pancake house is 5 minutes from the arena, I highly suggest to visit Wenatchee if possible, great little town who loves their hockey team.
Fly into Seatle, spend a night at Pike's place market then in the morning take a drive through the rockies and spend the weekend their watching games drinking with the locals, it was my 2nd favorite place to go watch my brother play outside of Kenai River

4 rookies injected into the lineup, is the 24/25 season a planned development year as well? - washedup20
Me thinks Rosen gets dealt for a d-man.
We injected three rookies into the lineup this year (Power, Quinn, Peterka) and they all had huge impacts on our success.

Saw some Sabres points projections on here yesterday. Really have to aim for 100 points to get into the playoffs. Last year was more of an anomaly than the norm. |

I get that, but this has always been a bit of a weird question. I think the age thing was created because they didn't want boys playing in a men's league because they aren't physically capable of taking he pounding. Unless they are really good at hockey - then we don't worry about it, apparently.
There are options for him. It wouldn't surprise me if he went to play overseas. |

Rosen.
Kulich has the higher floor than Savoie, but Savoie has the higher ceiling so I give Savoie the edge for this exercise - Swedish_Jesus

Any idea why he fell to #13. Nhl in general prefers size, but anything else? - Boss34
He's not a great skater. Bit like a certain player you hate.
Run on D played a big part in dropping him too.

I’d take a stab at Zadina.
1 YR, 1.5 mil.
Give him a tryout while Quinn is out.
If he doesn’t work. Cut his ass. |

I know it doesn't mean anything and we have no idea how it is going to play out, Dammit, watching Benson skate today brought a smile to my face. The kid just looks special.

Had to go digging through the closets this past weekend to even find my #9... thought I was done with that Jersey... Might have to burn it to get rid of the bad juju and just get a Benson original

Both of those signings (ej and clifton) make 100% sense to me. Even if they are defensman #5 and 6.

Can they even sign him, they already have 25 NHL contracts for next year.

I don't understand why it seems to be written in stone that Peterka and Quinn need to be on the 2nd line with Cozens.
There would be absolutely nothing wrong with bringing in another winger, or even two, that are better as players on Cozens line.
Perhaps a Tuch lite winger added to Cozens line would make a giant difference.
Let Peterka and Quinn do damage in the 3rd line. - kingcong39

They can, that just another body that needs to be moved out though in a trade or waived and sent down. |
