Yeah but the 2024 draft is deep and loaded and whoever they draft should’ve went top 5 anyways.

Am I doing this right?

If Adams did what Dorion just did, you’d hang him in the streets.

It could also end up being a mid- high pick.

Boston is going to fall off anyways, or so everyone here says and Detroit isn’t that good.

Better players then Kubalik have been given away for nothing but cap this offseason.

Tatar and Suter are better players and still unsigned.

Dorion gave up 7th OA and the 38th OA picks for a mid round 2024 pick ?

Yikes.

Pegillaville warned everyone though that Debrincant deal would blow up in Dorion’s face.

It’s almost like the off season and the deadline where the cap space is prorated are two completely different things.

Nah because my biggest criticism of Adams is he’s playing everything way too safe.

The Sens got a year of DeBrincat and recouped 85% of what they gave up for him.

They took a swing, and it didn’t pan out long term but it also didn’t ruin them like people pretended it would.

Also, I can all but guarantee that the narrative here would be “wow look at Adams getting back all that for a guy that didn’t work out for them. He got back nearly everything he paid”

most of the negative posters of doing something says

"that's too much" at most trade suggestions, unless it's carter hart where they blow their wad and overpay in that proposal

Both Marriots (Courtyard and Harbor Center) are within walking distance but prices might be stupid because of the event. I'd probably stay at the Westin and catch an Uber.

3 first round picks and a B for a split start goalie is (frank)ing stupid.

based on the last 3 years, hart is not even worth 1 first round pick or prospect

How would it look if Marco Kasper, Matt Savoie, and/or Kevin Korchinski who was taken with the Sens pick go on to be legitimate top of the lineup players ?

All for 15 minutes of Alex Debrincant ?

they now have the cap space to sign the winger

if they sign him, how does the trade look now

simple question

I mean that is what many reputable posters are saying in the hockey chat rooms right now

They’d have the cap space to sign Tarasenko if they didn’t make the Debrincant trade in the first place too……

So I should applaud Dorion for moving picks 7 and 38 for a mid 2024 first rounder and Czecha Olofsson ?

Jesus Christ for two years on this website people couldn’t get over Botts moving a 6th round pick to Toronto for a future 6th yet can’t wrap their heads around this one

I don’t think anyone is saying it was a good trade.

It was always a risk. But they recouped a good amount back. It’s not like he walked away in UFA

Tarasenko is older now.

I wouldn’t consider that a win moving Cat out and bringing Tarasenko in
