Zadina getting bought out, will be a UFA

well now we are talkin

Huge bet on himself forfeiting 4M+ of his remaining contract. I'd love to take a low cost flyer on him

Rangers need to lock up Miller and Laf so we know exactly how much extra money we have to spend

So this doppler radar thing says he is slightly below average? Not good, but not terrible?

His finishing sucks. Hes like gauthier but with a more well rounded offensive skill set. Just can’t put it in the net. Worth a flier by a team

Basically yes. the actual heat map on the previous page is where shots are taken when he's on the ice. Red in the offensive = good. Blue in the defensive = good. He doesn't score like he should relative to chances he creates. but he also isn't on the ice a ton of high qualities chances against. But it's hard for to find a spot for him on this roster in my own head.

So basically a guy to take a shot on but not a fit here.

Could be a solid pick up as a 3rd line flier at 800k.

I mean he could be a fit here. Idk. In my own head I just don't see where/what line he'd play here.

The chart says he could play either RW, LW, not sure how accurate that is, but always a plus

He falls in that Chytil territory as far as how you use him. Not quite the type of player typically suited for a bottom 6 role (being defensively capable and having physicality to your game) but also really hasnt proven that hes capable of being offensively consistent to be in a 2nd line role.

that's a weird NTC

Didn't catch that. Seems odd or it's just a mistake from PuckPedia maybe and they meant 2024? I have no idea.

Sooo I know most people will flip out, but... sorry Tom wouldn't putting Wheeler with Zib and Kreider possibly work. Kreider in front of the net, Zib shooting, Wheeler a set up guy. Both Zib and Kreider are defensively responsible and fast could cover up any deficiencies.

Yeah. I'm just trying to see where he would fit. It definitely wouldn't be with Panarin.

I'm not an analytics guy at all. I'm an eye test guy but I appreciate the time you take to show the analytics as it helps an old dumbass like me see something my eyes don't.
