That guy is as big a clown as Kingerski, maybe bigger.
- j.boyd919

After the sound level meter incident during the 17 cup final I have had Kingerski at a level lower than most college paper reporters.

The thing with the report of Granlund, POJ and 2 1st round picks being traded doesn't make sense. There are multiple reports that San Jose had interest in Petry. Unless they just want the 9 million cap space which I don't see

That was Fillipponi. He isn't an insider and is known around here for always being completely wrong with his predictions and opinions. I wouldn't take anything he says seriously.

Not hockey related, but he once tweeted that Mason Rudolph would be a better quarterback long term than Lamar Jackson.

He's a shock jockey. He goes on air, says stupid things, and gets attention for it. He is no more credible than anyone on this board.

Yea the rumors are swirling as to what and who is getting traded. All I know is I talked to my cousin who knows a scout as a source and he said Pens are definitely in it. Whether or not it happens who knows, but Dubas is trying.

I read an article saying the road block for the Hurricanes is that they are trying to get assets in a trade for Pesce and then will use those in a trade for EK.

Same article said the Penguins issue is getting a 3rd team to retain salary.

He's been riding Kenny Pickett's jock all offseason, and Pickett hasn't done a damn thing significant in his rookie season.

Hahahahahaha yea he has been. I do think he can be a really good QB though. I worry with Canada though. Have never been a fan of him.

(frank) Arizona. They retain on everyone else or take poop contracts, it comes to us and they are nowhere be found. They are a completely useless organization to us hahaha

I am just hoping this isn't a Hextall situation where Dubas is in on a few guys but we lose out like with Churchrun and like 5 other guys then disappoints us with a desperation trade. At least Dubas can't trade our 2nd for Granlund lol.

Dubas has a pretty good track record trade wise imo. I don’t think he’s gonna miss out on someone like Hextard.

Gonna be Granlund, POJ, Rutta, and a 1st

Graves - Letang
Petts - EK
Smith - Petry

- Feds91Stammer

That would be very satisfying to me. And yes you keep the swedes together on the 2nd pairing.

I saw that! Good low risk signing.
- 123Kid

Absolutely electric watching him college. I once overheard him talking to his teammate on campus that the coach didn’t play him on the PK because he said when they drilled it in practice he was an automatic shorty. I guess he ended up being right because even though he was a skill guy in school pretty sure he ended up being a grinder in the NHL. He’s a quintessentially Sully guy. Grinder will hate him.

Somewhere there’s a middle ground between the people that have anointed him because he went to Pitt and the people that say he didn’t show anything at all his rookie season. That middle ground is me.

I certainly don’t think he showed a whole lot to be optimistic about.

I'll take the people on the board. It's painful listening to Filipino talk hockey. Think he'd rather watch NBA if it wasn't his job.

He got progressively better on a subpar offense with a terrible OC/QB coach without taking first team reps through camp. This year will be a lot more telling of how he projects IMO. Better line, better chemistry with his weapons which should perform better with Pickens being a year older, actual first team reps in camp and not being thrown in mid season. Canada remains a problem but we should see progress. If we don’t that’s bad.

His second half of the season performance was really impressive. Was that true development or just easier competition and better run support?

KP is exactly league average right now imo. If he keeps that late game clutchness going he could reach 10th best as his ceiling.

I do not trust Kingerski. It also feels unnecessary with the Graves signing and Pettersson still here. POJ or Smith would be a much cheaper 3rd pair option and wouldn't cost us anything. *If they would be willing to trade Carlo though, I'd be down.
- burgh4life87

Kind of figured this was nothing more than Dubas sending a little message to San Jose thru the media.

It was both. The line preformed better so Harris got it going and Pickett was able to settle in, but a lot of that was due to the schedule. I’m not sure how much the line actually improved.

I think Harris was probably a bad 1st round pick. Last year was very unimpressive. Good kid but running backs are so interchangeable that you have to be an absolute stud to live up to being picked in the 1st.

Idk man the stats are pretty bad.

He threw a TD on 1.8% of his attempts. The worst mark for eligible QBs. 2nd worst was Zach Wilson at 2.5%.

His ceiling is peak Andy Dalton and the odds of reaching that are low.
