Very risky with only 1 year left on his deal. Islanders are in a position with this roster that they need to take risks though. Doubtful Lou cares about moving another #1 pick though.

They can milk another $1.1M out of the cap if they send Johnston to the minors which, barring any other moves, is what they'll have to do in order to get Wahlstrom signed.
