He's 71 and took over the league in 1993. Not a fan of the guy but there has been revenue growth over the last 30 years. Sure there have been problems but I think overall his tenure has been successful.

The 1994 lockout after the Rangers won the Cup with hockey on top of the world was so foolish. Seinfeld and Friends were the two top shows in the country and the Rangers were part of them both. It was just so short sided and they failed to capitalize big time by shutting the league down right when that popularity was at its height.
And then canceling the 2004-2005 season outright.
