they are not done paying for him (not only cash but picks)

On July 8, 2022, the Hurricanes traded DeAngelo to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, a third-round pick in the 2023 draft, and a second-round pick in the 2024 draft. He agreed to terms on the same day, signing to a two-year, $10 million contract with the Flyers

Philty's 2nd in 2024 will be a good pick also...for a team rebuilding like the Flyers...not good.

New GM's usually get stuck with the previous management's mistakes ... that's why they're previous management. Hahaha!

exactly, considering the context it isn't ideal for sure. but hey, Brière inherited of this, eventually he'll have the team steering in the right direction but you gotta start somewhere. one thing they got going for them is potentially in net, with a few moves on the backend, Hart could definitely be putting up better numbers very quickly. unless of course they get an offer they can't refuse and trade him too...

Good afternoon, 'Murica.

Going back to the lasagna convo from this morning, I'll still take mine.

Homemade meat sauce, using Italian sausage and extra lean ground beef.
2 different layers of ricotta (fresh Parmigiano and beaten egg with the ricotta to tighten it up while it cooks)... One mixed with sauteed spinach, garlic, and chili; the other with sauteed baby portabella and garlic.
I don't do a bechamel on top, I go all in on cheese: fresh buffalo mozzarella rounds, more Parmigiano, and asiago. Drizzle a bit of fresh basil pesto on top after it comes out, just before serving.

I only do it on special occasions, as it's a pain in the ass, but damn, so worth it.
