I see 99 points
91 last year
+7 Levi factor
+2 Clifton factor
0 Johnson factor
+3 Bryson/Joker/Boosh not playing factor
-5 injury estimate factor
-2 Quinn injury factor
+3 cozens, Peterka, powers (young kid improvement)
Possible additions;
+2 Sign Tatar
+3 trade for a 1B goalie (Markstrom/Hart)
+3 trade for a 3D - turbo044
This a good post and very fun.
I love this format. I agree with largely everything you posted but im adding/altering
-5 shooting percentage regression (Tage 16%, Skins 15, tuch 17 last year)
-2 UPL plays half the games (WAR impact)
+ 5 Rather than 7 for Levi
+1 rather than +3 for Boosh, Joker and Stillman because they're still on the roster imo. Just pair 3 or extra D
I'm sticking with 88 |

To run the business end of a professional sports team? Yeah, I think so, especially when the arena needs significant upgrades and it’s challenging to make money with an nhl team that hasn’t made the playoffs in 12 years. |

The implication of a POHO or president is that there may be repercussions for failing to meet expectations. The Sabres have no need for that |

Benson, Savoie, Kulich all ranked top 25 on Scott Wheelers best drafted prospects list.
Levi ranked 3rd on top 10 goalie prospects list.
Peterka, Quinn, Cozens, and Power already on the roster with bright futures.
Core of Dahlin, Tage, Tuch, Skinner, Samuelsson in place.

Bottom of the 5th and it's 6-0 Angels, hard to believe Boone still has a job. |

I’ll be upset if they miss the playoffs like everyone else.
Doesn’t take away from the fact we have a factory of high end talent here for the next half decade at the minimum |

We dont really know that though, were cautiously optimistic we do. The process at some point needs to adapt and switch gears to be less about what could be and more about what is. |

They should not miss the playoffs next year. KA has to make a couple more moves to ensure this. |

Sure, this whole NHL offseason has been 50 shades of franked.
Half the league have GM’s and front offices on on the hot seat, as the one Adams presumably is on, and 90% of the players speculated to be moved haven’t.
Someone’s going to blink eventually |

Why won’t Adams be that someone? The Sabres need roster talent in goal and middle six forward.
I’d be completely fine if he sacrificed 5% of the future for the greater good of ending the drought. |

Probably some small repercussions....
Nothing to off balance signing and keeping his top 2 centers in buffalo for under market thru 2030.
You seems especially down on the Sabres, everyone everywhere is super excited except a few trud trolls around here.
We have a phenom goalie, aren't you excited about him?
More worried about bashing the back up prospect though? - Boss34
Out of touch with reality
Im not sure I know anyone who is super excited after this lackluster offseason. Couple posters here have stayed strong while most have voiced some level of concern
Numerous articles of concern have been written
Just another poor take |

I see them in the 86 to 89 range as well
98 points needed to get in
we all can disagree on if this team is going to make the playoffs or not but clearly the bold move or 2 to compete for the cup has not happened so far this summer, and we lost quinn for a good chunk of the year - homiedclown
Completely agree. If playoffs are wanted/expected, more moves are needed to bolster the lineup.
Priority in order. I think top 2 gets it done, but may need 3 for insurance
Playoff ready goalie
Top 6 winger
