Yeah and Adams signed him to a 2yr 2.25mill a year contract. Looks to me Adams doesn't now who to pay sometimes and who not. - Buff36
I have questions about the acquisitions in 2020 and who was responsible for that mess.

honestly jon toews would have been an awesome add for the bottom 6. it's not realistic for a lot of reasons, but the player even in his weak state would have been good for that spot.
unreliable health wise, highly likely not desirable to play here for him, bordering on retirement, undesirable role. - TheSabresTaco
No thanks.

This time last year the majority on here thought we were no doubt a bottom 10 roster.
The team was cooked apparently once they had the 8 game losing streak in November
Then MoneyPuck had us at 50% playoff odds around January and our old friend Iacarup nearly had a stroke going on his charade about analytics “how could we have a 50% chance of a playoff spot 8 points out of the playoffs”.
Then it was “meaningful games in March only lasted three games”.
Fast forward to April and we are still playing meaningful games and we miss out on a playoff spot cause Tuch’s skate blade was an inch over the blue line against Florida.
The fact that everyone here thinks we are pooched, gives me even more optimism about the state of the roster.

No we missed because the GM didn't address holes last offseason. Not because of a skate blade. |

I made this point yesterday, I think his leadership would go a long way in that room. |

If the Sabres miss the playoffs next year, you’ll have the same people telling us how it was good that they missed because now they have a chance to get a really good prospect.
Also the team wasn’t ready anyways and it’s all part of Adams plan |

You had a Selke winning coach on staff that probably could have helped and you didn’t want to stick one of the current bench presiding numskulls in the press box for him… must not have been an effective, efficient, economic move… |

My money is on the zamboni driver over waters the ice resulting in a Sabres loss that ends the playoff chances.
That should enough to keep the false hope alive for the Adams followers.
Until he is bald, the team doesn't stand a chance.

Agreed with your points, the only way he agrees is if Adams over pays both him and Kane. It won't happen though.
